We’ve filmed a new video interview, this time with Kerry Williams. Kerry is a former Great Britain & Leicester hockey player, who played in attack during her sporting career, and is now working as a football brand manager for Nike. During her hockey career, Kerry made appearances a series of prestigious tournaments, including at World Cups in 2006 & 2010, and also at the Commonwealth Games in 2010. She won bronze medals at the 2010 World Cup and also at the Commonwealth Games in the same year, as well as on five other occasions. While playing for GB Hockey, Kerry scored two goals.
During her interview, Kerry talks about the importance of showing off your strengths on your job applications, and particularly on your CV, especially due to the variety of skills that apply especially to people such as herself who have previously had sporting careers. She has always had one eye on the type of career that she has now entered, suggesting on her GB Hockey profile that if she wasn’t a hockey player she would be in brand design.
