Life After Professional Sport have been recognised on two different radio stations this week, as founder Robbie Simpson has been interviewed by TalkSport and by BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
Robbie was featured on TalkSport’s Extra Time on the 20th May, alongside LAPS member and previous interviewee Bradley Pritchard. The show can be found by clicking here, and the section featuring LAPS and Robbie begins around 23 minutes.
Our second interview in the last seven days was on the Dotty McLeod show, during which Robbie again highlights the importance of the work that is being done at LAPS. Also on the show was recently retired professional boxer Tommy Martin. The interview can be listened to on the BBC iPlayer by following this link, and coverage of LAPS starts around the 1hr 19 mark.
LAPS have been featured in various national and local press outlets since our launch at the end of 2016, so be sure to keep an eye out for us in the near future!
