We provide a series of athlete support webinars and newsletters, aimed at professionals working in elite sport like you. Membership is 100% free to anyone who is, or was, an elite athlete or sports professional. We can provide you a link to share with your athletes that will give them instant, free access to LAPS, where they benefit from all the advice, career resources, events and job opportunities we have to offer. We partner with a range of organisations, including player unions like the British Elite Athletes Association, or independent providers like Athlete Now to give instant free access to the elite athletes they work with.
We run a range of workshops in partnership with clubs and organisations, such as our highly successful Play It Forward series in collaboration with the Premier League.
Workshops are designed for your players or members to help them understand the importance of planning ahead, as well as help them to prepare for a new career after sport, without interfering with their sports career. We’ve worked on numerous events on various scales, including Athlete Futures, in partnership with UK Sport/UKSI which attracted several hundred attendees across a series of nationwide events, providing a fantastic opportunities for sportspeople, businesses and support organisations to learn more about each other and make new connections. We also run events with football clubs to help highlight to youth teams and academies the importance of planning ahead.
Our annual Ahead Of The Game events are held in the spring and provide an opportunity for current and former athletes to network with businesses looking to build their teams, and tap into the community of retired sportspeople. It’s a great way for athletes to understand their value in the workplace, and build their network for life after sport.
