LAPS, with support from League Football Education (LFE) are pleased to announce details of Ahead of the Game on Wednesday 24th April 2019 from 1pm-4:30pm at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester.
Staged at the Etihad Stadium, Manchester and completely free to attend, we encourage clubs to extend the invitation to all U18, U23 and senior players, both men and women, including those released this or last season. It’s never too early for players to think about what life after football might look like – the future isn’t certain, but with support and guidance we’re aiming to help players prepare for life after professional sport.
Through a combination of workshops, guest speakers and exhibition space, this will be an important date in the educational calendar for players, and will be an opportunity for businesses, educational organisations and players to connect with and inspire one another.
The event will be interactive, informative and fun. The Ahead of the Game careers event is designed to help players and organisations connect through a varied line-up of workshops, guest speakers and exhibition space. We are inviting a range of organisations to book exhibition space at the event to spark ideas, provide information and hopefully create new connections that will be mutually beneficial to players and organisations.
