New Video Interview – Shaaiq Choudhry

Our latest video interview is now up on the LAPS website, and this time its with cricketer Shaaiq Choudhry. Shaaiq played for Worcestershire C.C.C for five years, having initially been given an eight-week trial period, eventually leaving the club at the end of the 2015 season. He has played over a number of the games various formats, including in test matches and in Twenty20 matches.

During his interview, Shaaiq talks about the way that his cricket career will aid him in his new career, in which he is currently working as a Software Test Analyst. Shaaiq talks about his preparation for a new career, and urges any other sports people, regardless of which stage of their careers they’re at, to plan for Life After Professional Sport. He also suggests that having travelled so much as a cricketer, and tested himself against players at the pinnacle of the sport have prepared him for a new career.
